Toku Adds to its Board: People in the News: 5/8/24

Kopin Corporation, a provider of optical solutions and micro-displays, has appointed Greg Truman to its newly created position of vice president of business development for Europe, Middle East, and Asian/Pacific markets. Truman has held various general management positions within Kopin and has overseen the sales and marketing efforts at Kopin’s subsidiaries, Forth Dimension Displays in Dalgety Bay, Scotland, and NVIS, Inc. in Reston, Virginia. He will now focus on developing the international markets for the full portfolio of Kopin products across defense, medical, training and simulation, enterprise and industrial, and consumer applications.

SAN DIEGO — Noninvasive, AI-powered diagnostic and screening tools developer Toku, Inc. has added Dr. Robert N. Weinreb to its board of directors. Weinreb is the chair and distinguished professor of ophthalmology at the University of California, San Diego, and the director of the Shiley Eye Institute and the Hamilton Glaucoma Center. Toku uses retinal imaging technology to measure cardiovascular and other health risk factors.
