Tyco's ACS Inks Private Label Deal with American Access Technologies
LAKE MARY, Fla., April 6 – America Cable Systems (ACS) Inc., a division of Tyco International Ltd., has signed a private label agreement with American Access Technologies Inc. The deal calls for America Cable to incorporate American Access' patented zone cabling cabinets into its distribution network.
"We recognized zone cabling as a commercial solution and we were instrumental in driving the standards committee to recognize it also," said Richard McGrail, president of ACS, adding that his company has been committed to zone cabling since as early as 1993.
"American Access is teaming up with a market leader in zone cabling for both power and connectivity, and we believe the agreement with America Cable Systems adds credence to our philosophy that zone cabling is the future," said Wil Boyd, vice president of sales for American Access.
