Cardiovascular imaging
JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging, a journal of the American College of Cardiology, debuts with the January 2008 issue and will be published six times annually. With the goal of providing a balanced view of all aspects of cardiovascular imaging, the journal will include articles on original clinical research that employs invasive and noninvasive techniques, such as echocardiography, CT, CMR, nuclear and optical imaging, and cine-angiography. Advances in basic science and in molecular imaging that are likely to influence clinical practice significantly will be welcomed. Among the topics considered in the inaugural issue are echo for percutaneous aortic valve implantation, MR in carotid atherosclerosis, and imaging of angiogenesis. Dr. Jagat Narula, ed.; Elsevier Inc., St. Louis, 2008; Free to ACC members; $182, one-year individual nonmember subscription.
