!%The Optical Society of America%! has launched the interactive Web page “Spotlight on Optics,” which will provide summaries of select research articles from all 13 of its journals on a regular basis. Accessible through the society’s database of journal articles, Optics InfoBase, the resource highlights articles that have been identified by the journal editors as demonstrations of critical new developments in optics and photonics research. Each article in “Spotlight” has open access. Readers can post comments to a “Spotlight” page.
