Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a provider of analytical instruments and lab and industrial equipment, has announced that it has acquired advanced chemical sensors manufacturer NovaWave Technologies Inc. of Redwood City, Calif. The purchase will expand the Franklin, Mass.-based company’s position in environmental and process monitoring, and in isotopic ratio measurements.
