Nikon Instruments

!%Nikon Instruments%! of Melville, N.Y., and California Institute for Quantitative Biomedical Research have opened a core microscopy imaging center at the University of California, San Francisco, to promote education and innovation. The center will be outfitted with three types of laser-based microscopes, including the total internal reflection fluorescence and two laser-scanning confocal systems. The center will be used for studying brain and heart development, cell movement, chromosome structure and fat accumulation in animal models.
