BD (Becton, Dickinson and Co.)

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Co.) of Franklin Lakes, N.J., has signed an agreement to acquire the 93.5% of the outstanding shares of TriPath Imaging Inc. of Burlington, N.C., that it does not already own. The $350 million deal is expected to be finished by the end of the first quarter of 2007.
