Dendritic Nanotechnologies of Mount
Pleasant, Mich., known for its special class of nanostructures called dendrimers,
has been acquired by the Melbourne, Australia-based nano-biotech company Starpharma
Holdings Ltd. Dendrimers have demonstrated applications in industries including
medical, electronics, chemical and materials. Starpharma plans to commercialize
the technology in the pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial sectors.
