Qioptiq SAS

Paris-based !%Qioptiq SAS%! will divest its molding unit, Qioptiq Polymer Inc. of La Verne, Calif., to concentrate on its core optical and photonics business. Qioptiq Polymer’s injection molding business assets will be sold to the current management. The transaction was scheduled to close by the end of March. The new venture, which will conduct business as !%14844%%Diverse Optics Inc.%!, will remain at the La Verne facility. With offices worldwide, Qioptiq designs and manufactures photonic products and solutions for applications in the medical and life sciences, industrial manufacturing, defense and aerospace, and research and development markets.
