DigitalOptics Corp. (DOC)
Dr. Farzan “Bob” Roohparvar has been replaced as president of DigitalOptics Corp. (DOC) by Chief Operations Officer Logan Saverimuthu. The company announced the departure and interim appointment in September. Roohparvar came to DOC from Flextronics, which he joined in 2006 as president of its power supply business FlexPower and where he served as president and CEO of Vista Point Technologies. Saverimuthu, who joined DOC in April 2011, manages DOC plants and production facilities. DOC, of San Jose, Calif., makes miniaturized camera modules for consumer electronics and the automotive, medical and security markets. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessera Technologies Inc.
