IBC Advanced Alloys Corp.

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and Inrad Optics Inc. of Northvale, N.J., have signed an agreement to identify alternative uses for IBC’s alloys. They will evaluate the viability and commercialization of IBC’s Beralcast alloys as a cost-effective alternative substrate material for custom precision optical systems components. The alloys are suitable for applications that require complex, lightweight and high-stiffness parts. Inrad Optics develops crystal-based optical components and devices, custom optical components for both glass and metal, and precision optical and optomechanical assemblies. Its products have applications in the medical, defense, industrial and scientific fields.
