FDA clears Quantel Medical’s ophthalmic laser system

The US FDA has granted Quantel Medical of Clermont-Ferrand, France, 510(k) market clearance for the company’s Vitra Multispot laser, which combines advanced pattern scanning and solid-state green laser technologies to treat diabetic eye disease.
