BioTek Begins $4M Expansion in Vermont
Microplate instrumentation developer BioTek Instruments Inc. has begun a $4 million expansion of its facility, adding 22,000 ft
2 to support its design and manufacturing needs.

“Our truest successes are not defined by dollars, but rather by making shared positive impacts throughout our state, our country and across the entire world, and I’m proud of what we have accomplished together,” said Briar Alpert, president and CEO of BioTek. “We develop and manufacture all of these products right here in Vermont, and we’re a working example of home-grown success reaching a global scale.”
BioTek is a designer and manufacturer of microplate instrumentation and software used to aid life science research, facilitate drug discovery, provide rapid and cost-effective analysis, and enable sensitive, accurate quantification of molecules across diverse applications.
