Basler, Siemens Integrate Vision into Factory Automation
Basler AG has entered into a partnership with factory automation solutions provider Siemens for the integration of its machine vision technology into Siemens’ automation systems. The collaboration’s first effort, the Basler Vision Connector, is an app that allows Basler's vision components to be integrated into Siemens’ Industrial Edge and SIMATIC TIA ecosystems. Further plans include offering Basler’s pylon SDK on Siemens automation devices and aligning customer support between the two companies.
