nLight Ships 1,000th Alta Laser

Semiconductor and fiber laser manufacturer nLight Corp. has announced the shipment of the 1,000th unit of its alta industrial fiber laser.

“Last year, we cut the ribbon on our new fiber laser manufacturing factory in Vancouver, Wash., and today we are proud to announce the shipment of the 1,000th laser,” said Scott Keeney, president and CEO of nLight.

The platform is designed and manufactured using vertically integrated, high-brightness laser diode and fiber technologies. The lasers are available at power levels from 500 W to 4 kW.

nLight manufactures next-generation semiconductor and fiber lasers based on vertically integrated global operations.
