Kokyo Appointed Photodigm Distributor in Japan

Laser diode manufacturer Photodigm Inc. has appointed Kokyo Inc. as its new distributor for Japan, providing sales and support across the country.

“We welcome Kokyo Inc. to our team,” said John Spencer, CEO of Photodigm. “This agreement shows our commitment to expanding sales and support to our Japanese customers. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with Kokyo Inc.”

Photodigm is a manufacturer of single spatial and longitudinal mode laser diode, including distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) lasers.

“We are excited to expand our product offerings to include Photodigm DBR lasers,” said Kazuhiko Sumimura, CEO of Kokyo. “We feel that the Japanese market has great potential for the DBR lasers. We look forward to working with Photodigm Inc.”
