Stangassinger to Head Sales, Marketing of Gigahertz-Optik

Light measurement technology provider Gigahertz-Optik GmbH has appointed Andreas Stangassinger as its sales and marketing director.

Stangassinger is the successor of Wolfgang Dähn, who will concentrate on the general management of the company. Stangassinger holds a Ph.D. in physics with a focus on spectroscopy. In the past, he has worked in the areas of test and measurement, lasers and optics. Most recently, he was sales director for a market-leading European distribution company.

“As Dr. Stangassinger has a long professional experience, we are sure that the company will benefit a lot and will proceed with its strong growth in the next years,” Dähn said.

Gigahertz-Optik is a developer of light measurement devices, finely tuned accessory products and services.
