XENON Benchtop System Now Seeing Increased R&D Use
Pulsed-light technology developer XENON Corp. has reported increased use of its benchtop XENON X-1100 system in university R&D laboratories.
Since the X-1100 system is a wide-area solution, the emitted pulsed light provides researchers flexibility and eliminates potential harm to exposed materials. It also produces the complete spectrum, ranging from deep UV to visible to FIR.
“Laser systems are powerful tools, but they create several obstacles that can restrict the work being done by researchers, both in academia and in industry,” said Saad Ahmed, director of engineering at XENON. “Thanks to the development of the X-1100 pulsed-light system, R&D laboratories now have a compact, versatile tool that breaks free from the limitations of laser technology, allowing researchers to push the boundaries of technologies and characterize new processes.”
XENON is a provider of pulsed-light technology for industrial, medical, and research applications.
