Robert Hutchison to Head System Integration Team

Robert J. Hutchison has joined Melles Griot as North American Nanopositioning Team Leader. Located in Rochester, New York at the Melles Griot Optical Systems facility, Mr. Hutchison, who holds a Master of Science degree in business administration from University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, will head the newly formed nanopositioning product development and system integration team. Prior to joining Melles Griot, Mr. Hutchison was vice president of Lucid, Inc. with responsibility for their photometric products.

Mr. Hutchison's team is charged with developing and installing complete, automated, process-ready solutions for the complex alignment and positioning problems associated with attaching fiber-optic cable to waveguides, fiber gratings, lasers, and other fiber-optic components.
