Burle Industries Receives Certified Supplier Status from Eastman Kodak

LANCASTER, Pa., Aug. 7 -- Burle Industries Inc., provider of products for Kodak's radiography systems for health imaging, was recently honored with Eastman Kodak Co.'s certified supplier status for outstanding achievement in delivering quality products. A certified status plaque was presented to Richard Phillips, quality assurance manger of Burle Industries, by Kodak's director of quality logistics and divisional vice president of worldwide purchasing.

Kodak's certification signifies consistently outstanding performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost and the systems in place to achieve continuous improvement with year-over-year productivity. Kodak also cited the company for its flexible manufacturing capability that helped Kodak control and reduce inventory.
