TRUMPH Laser Technology Center to Exhibit Scanner Laser Welding at the Fiberoptic Automation Exposition
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich., Aug. 13 -- The TRUMPF Laser Technology Center, a member of the TRUMPF Group specializing in industrial laser applications, will unveil their latest technology in precision scanner welding at the Fiberoptic Exposition in Rosemont, IL, October 2-4.
The Programmable Focusing Optic focuses the laser beam to any defined location on the working area using a series of Galvo mirrors. With an integrated pulsed or continuous wave laser, parts can be welded without movement of the focusing optics or the workpiece, eliminating the need for linear axes and additional controls.
