IntelCore Wins Specialty Fiber Funding
BOSTON, Aug. 16 -- IntelCore Technologies has received $25 million in funding to manufacture specialty fiber used with components to improve the speed and capacity of fiber-optic networks. Based at the Boston University Photonics Center, IntelCore will use some of the $25 million to build a production facility in Grafton, Massachusetts, the company said.
IntelCore's latest funding was led by Tudor Ventures Group and included Technology Venture Partners, Megunticook Management and St. Paul Venture Capital.
