Lightchip Launches Optical Wavelength Manager (OWM)
SALEM, N.H., Sept. 5 -- Responding to the needs of metro-service providers, Lightchip, Inc. announces its Optical Wavelength Manager (OWM), a shelf-level, intelligent subsystem for monitoring and managing wavelengths in DWDM networks. The OWM, distributed at critical nodes in the network, provides the real-time information necessary to assess the quality of the transport layer at the photonic level.
