Aeroflex Incorporated Announces Fiber Optic Module Order Valued At More Than $5.7 Million
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Sept. 24 -- Aeroflex Incorporated, a designer, developer and manufacturer of microelectronics and automated testing solutions for the broadband communications market, announced that its microelectronic solutions division has been awarded a development and initial preproduction order totaling more than $5.7 million for next generation pure photonic network systems.
The order is for the development, implementation and manufacture of two photonic modules utilizing indium phosphide (INP) technology. Deliveries are anticipated to commence in the December 2001 quarter and are expected to be completed in calendar year 2003.
