Advanced Research Technologies Showcasing State-of-the-Art ISISTM Device at Assembly Technology Chicago Expo Oct. 2nd-4th
CHICAGO, IL and MONTREAL, Canada, Sept. 26, 2001 - Advanced Research Technologies (ART), has announced that it is showcasing its printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) test and inspection solution ISISTM - Infrared Screening and Inspection Solution - at the Chicago Assembly Technology Expo October 2nd-4th.
ISIS is the first infrared test and inspection solution for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) that detects defects that traditional test and inspection devices cannot. Designed to carry out non-invasive, rapid, and reliable anomaly detection tests, ISIS is also to debug and recover failed PCBs known as bone-piles caused by inexact testing. Based on the company's proprietary laser and thermal imaging technologies, ISIS is a suite of infrared diagnostic testing and inspection systems developed by ART. ISIS can be used as a complementary or alternative solution to traditional electrical and physical test and inspection systems such as in-circuit test (ICT), automated optical inspection (AOL) or x-ray.
