Japan Orders Surveillance Cameras
Goodrich Corp., formerly BF Goodrich Co., has received a contract from the
Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force to provide long-range optical cameras.
The compact design of the DB-110 cameras makes them suitable for several types of aircraft. The systems combine electro-optical and IR capabilities and can produce high-resolution pictures, day or night, from long distances. The reconnaissance cameras will be installed on modified P-3C aircraft.
