ADC Wins Visionstream Fiber Installation

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 29 -- Visionstream has selected ADC to provide equipment for its Nextgen Networks project. The project will include 8500 km of fiber -- from Brisbane to Perth, Australia -- using the latest dense wave division multiplexing technology.

Under the agreement, ADC will provide fiber connectivity equipment including its next-generation frame and OMX fiber termination and splicing solutions. In addition, ADC will supply its FiberGuide fiber raceway system for the Nextgen project. The installation will proceed through 2011.
