Grant to Fund Online Photonics, Optoelectronic Course Migration
LOWELL, Mass., Nov. 29 -- New online master's programs in photonics and optoelectronics are among those that will benefit from a $45,000 grant from The Sloan Foundation to the University of Massachusetts Lowell Division of Continuing Studies and Corporate Education (CSCE).
CSCE has trained dozens of faculty how to migrate courses online since they started offering distance learning courses over five years ago. The grant will fund faculty stipends to migrate three new online master's programs: photonics and optoelectronics, educational administration and clinical pathology.
