GigaTera Inc. Receives $2M from Cypress Semiconductor and Silicon Light Machines

ZURICH, Switzerland, Nov. 30 -- GigaTera Inc., a Swiss company that develops high-speed components for optical telecommunications networks, announced it has received $2 million in venture financing from Cypress Semiconductor and its wholly owned subsidiary Silicon Light Machines, both of Sunnydale, Calif.,

According to Andros Payne, CEO of GigaTera, "This investment and relationship will help us to accelerate the development of our first network-deployable product."
