Aeroflex Gets $20M in Defense Orders
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Dec. 5 -- Aeroflex Inc., developer and manufacturer of microelectronics and automated testing solutions for the broadband communications market, announced it has received more than $15 million in orders for electronic modules and electromechanical assemblies for defense applications. The orders are expected to be shipped over a period of approximately 24 months.
The company has also received interim funding on a contract with an expected value of approximately $5 million for electronic modules for defense satellite applications, to be shipped over an 18-month period.
