Acquisition Supports Activities in Laser Applications

Physical Sciences Inc., a developer of advanced technologies for the acoustics, aerospace, energy, environmental, manufacturing and medical markets, has acquired Q-Peak Inc., a former subsidiary of Schwartz Electro-Optics Inc. Q-Peak's expertise in developing and producing solidstate lasers; in conducting research on new lasers, nonlinear optical devices and laser materials; and in developing prototype photonic systems will complement the laser applications work of Physical Sciences.
