Elbit Vision Delivers First Automatic Tire-Cord Inspection System

YOQNEAM, Israel, Jan. 10 -- Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. (EVS) said it has installed an I-TEX100TC Automatic Tire-Cord Inspection System at Hyosung Corp.'s Ulsan plant in Korea.

"We have designed the I-TEX100TC to fulfill the unique inspection needs of the tire-cord dipping process, combining our extensive experience in automatic inspection of textiles, together with an in-depth comprehension of the tire-cord industry itself," said Idan Kleifeld, marketing vice president of EVS. The EVS I-TEX100TC system is installed at the end of the tire-cord dipping line and provides 100 percent real-time automatic visual quality inspection of the production at line speed.
