Cierra Shipping 50GHz Filter
SANTA ROSA, Calif., Jan. 10 -- Cierra Photonics Inc. announced that it is shipping its terra-Q 50G-5 filter to multiple customers. The terra-Q 50G-5 is a five-cavity optical filter chip capable of 50 GHz DWDM channel spacing.The filter has been ordered for deployments in both long-haul and metro network applications to enable tightly spaced wavelength multiplexing and demultiplexing and optical add/drop functions. Additional customer trials are in progress.
