Contract Moves Axion into Chemical, Biological Threat Detection
EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada, Feb. 13 -- Axion Spatial Imaging Inc. has signed a contract with Dycor Technologies Ltd. to provide several software components for Dycor's Chemical and Biological Threat Detection System (CBTDS). Axion's software applications in land-based information will be used in adapting its GIS user interface to control and display data from an array of sensors in Dycor's proprietary CBTDS hardware.
"With the sobering realities facing the world as a result of the events of Sept. 11 last year, Axion is understandably pleased to be able to put our expertise to work in enhancing systems that contribute to safety and security in this critically important area," said Markus Lemke, Axion CEO.
