L-3 Communications has completed its acquisition of Aircraft Integration Systems, a division of Raytheon, for $1.13 billion in cash. Effective immediately, AIS has been renamed L-3 Communications Integrated Systems.. . . Gigabit Optics Corp. announced that Patrick Edsell has joined the company as CEO. Edsell is former chairman, president and CEO of Spectra-Physics Inc.
