Daniel Pitt, a former vice president at Nortel Networks, was named dean of Santa Clara University's School of Engineering starting July 2002. . . .Sabeus Photonics Inc. has added three new executives to its engineering management team: Nathalie Gossett as vice president, engineering; Charles Barakat, as vice president, quality and reliability assurance; and Gordon Li, chief engineer, active components. Bill Morey was recently named vice president of engineering development for sensors.
