France, Italy Order InVision Explosive Detectors
NEWARK, Calif., April 12 -- InVision Technologies Inc. announced that France's Service Technique des Bases Aeriennes (STBA) and Italy's Aeroporto Palermo de Punta Raisi have ordered CTX 2500 and CTX 9000DSi explosive detection systems valued at approximately $6.3 million.
STBA, one of InVision's major customers, is responsible for the technical evaluation of aviation security technology throughout France and purchases equipment for many French airports. Aeroporto Palermo is ordering its first system from InVision, with options to continue deploying CTX throughout the airport.
