ADC Files Patent Suit Against PCI Technologies
MINNEAPOLIS, April 19 -- ADC Telecommunications has filed a patent infringement suit against PCI Technologies over US Patent No. 6,289,210 B1, which relates to an improved RF circuit module.
The patent protects an ADC invention developed for its RF Worx platform. RF Worx products are designed to help multiple service operators deliver traditional video and future-targeted services over the same network. The RF Worx platform helps balance headend signals with minimal service interruptions.
ADC contends that certain modules sold under PCI's MAXNET brand infringe ADC's patent. ADC said it is seeking past damages and injunctive relief through its court action.
