Brian Curtiss, CTO at
Analytical Spectral Devices Inc., has been appointed to the US Food and Drug Administration's Chemometrics, Statistical Evaluation, and Information Technology Expert Working Group of the Process Analytical Technology (PAT) advisory subcommittee. PAT is a method designed to improve pharmaceutical manufacturers' efficiency and quality control. Curtiss has over 20 years experience in imaging and nonimaging spectroscopic sensor systems, which he has applied to diverse issues in the pharmaceutical industry.
. . . Dan Kerpelman was named president of
Eastman Kodak Co.'s Health Imaging unit. He was previously general manager of the GE Medical Systems' Global Diagnostic X-ray unit.
