Edmund Industrial Optics Announces Optical Prototyping Services
BARRINGTON, N.J., June 18 -- Edmund Industrial Optics recently announced a new rapid optical component prototyping service that brings together optical manufacturing and thin-film coating to deliver custom components in four weeks or less.
Prototype runs consist of small-volume orders from 1 to 25 pieces for a variety of coated optical components, including singlets, doublets, windows, mirrors and wedges.
Rapid prototyping services are available for components ranging from 10 mm to 100 mm in diameter with a center thickness to diameter ratio of 1:12 or less.
