Indigo Systems Secures $17.6 M Funding
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 27 -- Indigo Systems Corp., a provider of infrared (IR) cameras and technology for commercial, industrial and military applications, announcedit has secured $17.6 million in financing. Investors include The Carlyle Group, Founders Capital Partners, London's Lago Ventures and WK Technology Fund of Taiwan.
The company will use the funds to complete its infrared detector manufacturing plant, which it began with an investment from Northrop Grumman in September 2000.
Indigo will add two new members to its board of directors: L. Robert Johnson, managing partner of Founders Capital Partners, and Allan C. Thygesen, managing director, venture capital, at The Carlyle Group.
