C-COR to Buy Philips Broadband Networks

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, and STATE COLLEGE, Pa., July 9 -- C-COR.net, a provider of broadband communications technology, systems and services, has announced it will acquire Philips Broadband Networks for a cash payment of approximately $80 million and the assumption of certain liabilities. The transaction is expected to be completed during the second half of 2002.
