Japanese Defense Force Orders More Goodrich Camera Systems
FARNBOROUGH, England, July 23 -- The Japanese Marine Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) has awarded Goodrich Corp., through its trade representative Sumitomo Corp., a second contract to deliver additional Goodrich DB-110 camera systems to be installed on modified P-3C maritime patrol aircraft. First deliveries are scheduled for September.
The Goodrich DB-110 camera system combines electro-optical and infrared imaging capabilities in a compact design that fits many different types of aircraft. Goodrich also supplies DB-110 reconnaissance systems to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense for its Royal Air Force Tornado reconnaissance squadrons.
