Lumenon Secures $14 Million Financing Commitment

MONTREAL, August 23 -- Lumenon Innovative Lightwave Technology Inc. announced it has secured a financing commitment from a private institutional investment fund.

Under the terms of the common stock purchase agreement, Lumenon has the option to obtain a maximum of $14 million by issuing shares of its common stock in a series of periodic draw-downs of funds.

Lumenon is a photonic materials science and process technology company offering optical devices for the telecommunications market.
