YCA Launches Optical Components Division

YKK Corporation of America (YCA), a manufacturer of precision parts for the fiber optics industry, has launched its North American Optical Components Div., based in Marietta, Ga. The new company fabricates, tests and assembles zirconia fiber optic ferrules, optical couplers, connectors and passive components for long-haul optical communications and other low-loss connector applications.
