Optics Consulting Service Established

Optics for Hire of Arlington, Mass., and Lviv, Ukraine, has formed an optics consulting firm. The company will market a Ukraine-based engineering team with collaborative experience in designing optomechanical systems for optical disc, biomedical, display, and space and satellite applications, among others. It says its cost structure allows it to partner with optical consulting and product development firms as subcontractors. The team consists of physicists, CAD designers, and optical, mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
