Boeing LTS Wins High-Energy Laser Research Contract
Under a multiyear, $25.5 million contract from the US Air Force, Boeing LTS of Albuquerque, N.M., will work to advance laser development and vulnerability-effects testing for the Air Force Research Laboratory's Laser Div. at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. The contract provides laser research and operational support for ultrashort-pulse and high-power gas and chemical laser development, and for assessing laser lethality and vulnerability. It continues a project under an earlier contract.
