Essex to Boost Annual Revenue by $3M
COLUMBIA, Md., November 14 -- Essex Corp. has hired 25 new employees to launch a Communications Services Div., the result of a new telecommunication services contract the company said will generate at least $3 million in annual revenue. The division could double this revenue level as additional employees are recruited to meet customer requirements, Essex said.
Leonard Moodispaw, Essex Corporation's CEO, said, "This 'smart revenue' extends our capability to implement and support telecommunication systems while significantly increasing revenue. These new employees join a talented group of engineers building telecommunications solutions for commercial and government customers. We welcome them and look forward to their contributions."
The new division will provide telecommunication systems support in modernization, project management, integration and engineering analysis. It will initially focus on supporting the intelligence community's voice and video systems and associated infrastructure.
