Nokia to Supply Jiangsu Telecom Equipment
HELSINKI, Finland, Nov. 15 -- Jiangsu Telecom and Nokia have signed a contract for the supply of ADSL equipment to enable Jiangsu to further expand its broadband DSL network.
Considered one of China's most open and fast-developing areas, Jiangsu province is located in eastern China. The capital Nan Jing is about 300 kilometers from Shanghai.
Nokia will supply the D500 next-generation multiservice access platform and related services, continuing the two companies' close cooperation. Deliveries began in October, and Jiangsu expects to begin a commercial rollout in November.
