ESI Receives Samsung Order

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 28 -- Electro Scientific Industries Inc. (ESI) said it has received a multisystem order from Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co. Ltd. for its model 5430 ultraviolet (UV) laser Microvia drilling systems.

ESI said the systems will be shipped to Korea this month.
